House warming, July 2026
5 Rue d’Assas, Paris.
'House Warming' begins with an encounter. Thomas Ordoyno (1768–1815), an ancestor of the artist. And the discovery of his book on flora, published in 1807 under the patronage of the poet Lord Byron.
The connection between the poet and the botanist provides both a framework, and a point of departure for the show. Tracing the shifting threshold between observation, association and absurdity, shaped by the slippage between different times and registers.
